Difference between these recipes:
The key difference between them is only one thing the way we cook them because either way Egg is gonna be the same. The temperature at which we cook and the cooking time defines a lot here. The egg will take its texture and taste out of these two factors.
So, Let us begin with
Scrambled Egg Omelette:
Scrambled Egg omelette may sound somehow confusing to you, but it is an extremely delicate dish to have. It is more famous in Japanese restaurants and they often call it as Omurice, they serve it on a bed of rice cooked in tomato ketchup and black pepper.
Procedure to cook:
~Whisk eggs in a bowl, add salt and black pepper
~Take a non-stick pan, keep medium flame and grease it with butter.
~Pour the egg mixture and keep whisking the eggs in the pan and slide the runny portion towards the sides so that all the mixture is evenly cooked.
~Now, add some butter towards the sides by lifting a bit using a spatula.
~It will take around 2-3 minutes in this process. The mixture upside looks little runny like scrambled eggs but the inner layer touching the pan will take the form of an omelette completely.
Fold the omelette as shown in the picture using a spatula. You may take some time to learn this technique. This is one type of egg dishes, we can eggjoy!😍
Poached Egg:
A perfect poached egg may sound technical, but it’s not! Keep Calm and Become an Eggs-pert with me(Sonakshi)
Let’s begin:
All you need is hot water, not boiling with bubbles, one spatula wide enough to make an egg rest on its surface, one wine glass and that’s actually everything you need.
Procedure to cook:
~Boil 4 cups of water in a pan, bring it to a boil, reduce the flame to low and remove all the bubbles using a paddle. Add some salt to the water and dissolve it well.
~Crack your egg into a wine glass and when the water is completely still with no bubbles, no swirl. Gently pour the eggs dipping the glass horizontally into the water. That is all you need to do. Now, poach this egg for about 3-4 minutes or depending on how you like your egg-runny yolk or hard yolk.
~Remove the egg from water, keep it on a kitchen towel. Serve hot with a slice of toast. Yum-Yummiaahh!
You can use this poached egg as a patty for your burger just like Mc Egg from Mc Donalds. For more interesting burger recipes, Click Here
Fried eggs with Golden crisp edges and Sunnyside up:
Fried eggs are not the deep-fried version I am talking about. It is only stir-frying the egg in a pan or skillet with a teaspoon of oil.
Procedure to cook:
~Take a pan or skillet, grease it well with some butter or oil. Crack your egg carefully (The yolk must hold its shape).
~ On medium flame, let it cook for around 4-5 minutes on each side. Flip carefully when you see edges are golden and crisp.. Sprinkle some salt and pepper as per your choice. I like to have some smoked paprika.Enjoy with some hash brown or fries along with Tabasco on sides.
Next is…
Scrambled Egg English Style:
English people like to have their eggs a bit runny, flowing over the toast with the richness of butter and seasoned with salt and pepper.
Procedure to cook:
~Take a bowl, whisk as many eggs you want. Whisk for about 2 minutes.
~Take a pan, melt some butter and pour the mixture gently. Keep the heat to low during the entire exercise.
~Gently, keep stirring the mixture and achieve a consistency as shown in the picture.
You may have to take off the pan from the heat if you see it’s getting thick and hard.
~ Add some more butter, salt and pepper and its ready to serve!
Scrambled Eggs French Style:
This way, eggs are going to feel a lot lighter and soft and fluffy, because we are going to cook them over a water bath. This will change the taste and texture completely from the last one we did!
Procedure to cook:
~Take a deep bottom pan, add some water and bring it to a boil.
~Whisk your eggs well in a bowl and put the bowl on the top of your deep bottom pan and let the eggs cook at their own pace.
~This process will take 7-8 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add butter, a lot of it!
~Season with salt and pepper at the very end and garnish with some freshly chopped chives.
This way, eggs taste brilliant. They will fluffy, creamy, airy and very very light in texture almost like you are having cream and butter. Try the method, I am sure you will love it.
